This project showcases our high‑end retouching applied to a pair of Bentley production images: one capturing the raw body‑in‑white on a yellow carrier; the other inside a light tunnel used for paint inspection. Our goal was to elevate clarity, refine surfaces, and harmonise the industrial environment while preserving the authenticity of the manufacturing process. The result is a set of crisp, prestige‑grade visuals that communicate the precision and craft behind Bentley’s build quality.
The brief required a clean, editorial‑meets‑luxury treatment that highlights engineering accuracy without feeling clinical. We were asked to remove distractions, control reflections, balance the cool industrial palette, and ensure the body surfaces, fixtures, and structural lines read with premium clarity. The final images needed to be versatile—suitable for brand storytelling, factory features, corporate presentations, social, and high‑resolution print.
We approached each image with a luxury‑first methodology while respecting the realism of a live factory floor:
–Surface & Edge Refinement:– Cleaned weld marks and minor artefacts while maintaining truthful metal texture and panel definition.
–Reflection & Highlight Control: Balanced specular highlights across bodywork and inspection lights to avoid banding and retain smooth roll‑off.
–Environment Clean-up: Removed distracting elements, unified wall and floor tones, corrected signage edges, and normalised safety markings.
–Colour and Tonal Cohesion: Crafted a cool, engineered palette with subtle warmth reserved for the yellow carrier—guiding eye flow and visual hierarchy.
–Perspective & Symmetry: Subtly corrected alignment for a confident, architectural read; ensured verticals and horizontals feel intentional.
–Micro‑Contrast & Detail: Enhanced fasteners, seams, apertures, and trim interfaces for a crisper technical impression without over‑sharpening.
–Output Mastering: Delivered print‑safe exports, and web‑optimised versions for multi‑channel use.
The final pair of images communicate Bentley’s obsessive attention to detail—from the honesty of bare aluminium through to the discipline of paint inspection. Surfaces read smooth and premium; lighting is controlled, architectural, and flattering; the environment feels ordered and purposeful. The visuals now serve as strong assets for:
