This project showcases our high‑end retouching craft applied to an Adidas campaign visual centred around an early‑morning run. The goal was to elevate the atmosphere, refine the environment, and create a warm, energetic dawn aesthetic that aligns with the brand’s message of motivation and movement. Through careful enhancement of light, contrast, colour, and clarity, we transformed the image into a polished, campaign‑ready key visual designed to stand out across digital, social, print, and OOH placements.
Adidas needed a retouched hero image that captured the feeling of running at sunrise — vibrant, uplifting, and grounded in authenticity. Our brief focused on refining the dawn environment, cleaning up the scene, balancing highlights, and ensuring the artwork’s typography and brand elements remained clear and readable across multiple formats. The retouching needed to enhance storytelling without altering the natural, motivational tone of the original photography.
We rebuilt the lighting balance to create a richer, more immersive sunrise glow, shaping the direction of light to guide the viewer’s eye across the composition. Environmental clean‑ups improved clarity and focus, while tonal grading enhanced warmth and depth across the fields, sky, and silhouettes. We refined edges, improved motion cues, removed distractions, introduced colour harmony, and optimised the entire scene to support Adidas’ campaign typography. Additional work included sharpening structure, unifying the atmosphere, and preparing export‑ready masters for print and DOOH delivery.
The final image delivers a cohesive, emotionally resonant scene that embodies the campaign line: *Because I run to catch up*. The dawn atmosphere feels cleaner, brighter, and more purposeful, while the brand marks and typography are visually reinforced through careful luminance control. The result is a premium key visual that works effortlessly across billboard, DOOH, social media, retail screens, and web — a polished, expressive image that supports Adidas’ inspirational brand narrative.
