Product Animation
At Imaginar, product animation is delivered as a core part of our CGI capability — not as an isolated or one off service.
We create product animation to support launches, campaigns, ecommerce, sales and product communication, often before physical products exist. By developing animation alongside still imagery and product visualisation, we ensure accuracy, consistency and reuse across channels and formats.
This approach allows product animation to be:

• built from real product data and design intent
• adaptable across multiple outputs and platforms
Product animation is treated as part of an integrated visual system, designed to explain, demonstrate and present products clearly wherever they are used.
Product animation is motion based CGI created to demonstrate how a product looks, behaves or functions over time, using accurate 3D data rather than physical filming.
Unlike live action video, product animation allows internals, mechanisms, features and interactions to be shown clearly and precisely — often before a product exists physically. Movement, camera angles, lighting and sequencing are all controlled digitally, ensuring clarity and consistency across uses.
Product animation is typically used to:

• explain mechanisms, assemblies or interactions
• support product launches and digital campaigns
• enhance ecommerce and sales communication
When developed alongside CGI product images and wider visualisation, product animation becomes part of a coherent visual system — ensuring motion and still assets work together consistently across platforms and formats.

Challenge:
Launching a new range of flavoured whisky blends through social‑first content that demonstrated ingredients, mixing methods and ideal moments of consumption.
Solution:
A series of CGI product animations built around precise liquid simulation and layered 3D visuals, developed in multiple formats and cut‑downs to support Instagram‑first campaign delivery.
Outcome:
A scalable suite of animated content delivered as hero films and multiple variations, optimised for social performance and reused across the campaign to showcase Dewar’s Highball range clearly and consistently.
Challenge:
Communicating the engineering advantages and modular design of a next‑generation electric vehicle platform before physical vehicles were available.
Solution:
A high‑fidelity CGI product animation built from engineering data, combining exploded component views, system‑level motion and cinematic camera choreography to clearly visualise the INGLO EV architecture.
Outcome:
A 90‑second technical animation delivered ahead of production, used across product launches, investor presentations and automotive marketing to articulate Mahindra’s electric mobility platform with clarity and impact.
